Scottish Council Elections in Safe Hands

The recent Scottish Council Elections saw Specialized Security take on the assignments of securing the counting halls for both Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Councils.
Both of these councils were hung, like most other councils throughout the country. In Falkirk Labour took 14 seats, SNP 13, Conservative 2 and Others 3. In Clackmannanshire Labour took 8 seats, SNP 8, Conservative 1 and Others 1.
On behalf of the Returning Officer's the SIA Licenced Security Guards on duty were assigned to secure ballot boxes prior to delivery to polling stations, receive them back at the counting hall and ensure that only officials and staff were allowed into the count.
