Taxi Marshals, A Safer Bathgate

At a recent progress review of Enterprising Bathgate's Taxi Marshals scheme, Specialized's Tom Clements was extremely pleased to receive very positive feedback from the Business Improvement District.
A recent survey of it's members overwhelmingly concluded that the scheme should continue in the future. When asked "Should the Taxi Marshals scheme continue in the future?", the results were as below.
The scheme uses trained security officers from Specialized Security to assist in ensuring that the public are in a safe environment whilst making their way home from a night out. It aims to reduce alcohol related violence, disorder and the fear of crime in and around Bathgate Town Centre by utilising the Taxi Marshals to ensure that the public are kept safe whilst enjoying the vibrant night life.
