Pedal for Scotland 2009

Another new event for the Specialized Security team this year, saw us provide our services to Pedal for Scotland’s Glasgow to Edinburgh bike ride.

Over 7000 riders took part in the event, making it the best ever, and were lucky to be treated to a day of glorious sunshine. The route, around 51 miles long, saw the riders start at Glasgow Green and finish in Edinburgh’s Victoria Park, stopping along the way at rest stops in Coatbridge’s Drumpellier Park, Avonbridge, Linlithgow Palace and Kirkliston.

Specialized Security’s Managing Director, Scott O’Neill, took part in the bike ride and was cheered on by the staff that were placed at strategic points throughout the route.
