Pedal it Pink, Edinburgh

Specialized Security were pleased to provide it services to Pennine Events for the Breast Cancer Campaign's Pedal it Pink women only cycle ride in Edinburgh’s Holyrood Park.

This charity event sponsored by Santander saw the cyclists cover distances of a full marathon (26.2 miles), half marathon (13.1 miles) or 5k family lap.  With the event fully enclosed in Holyrood Park the traffic free route allowed both beginners and experienced cyclists to take part.

Money raised from Pedal it Pink will help fund innovative world-class research throughout the UK to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure.
